Hi super moms of the world,
My daughter was breastfed for 7 months, now it's time to get her on baby food, which I'm making myself.
However, it seems that the transitioning period is getting off on the wrong foot.
If I give her formula would this help or hurt her at this time?

Solids at 7 months is pretty much for fun and texture, it is recommended to keep formula/breast as her main diet until the age of one. But, yes, formula/breast first, then introduce the solids.

I agree with Kelsey solids at this point are just for fun so they should only be offered after breastmilk or formula. it's hard to tell if you are trying to wean her completely off the breast at this point, but if that's what you want to do then yes you will have to introduce formula till she's a year old. What problems are you encountering? If she doesn't seem interested right now just give it a week or two and try again.

I'm not having any problems breastfeeding, it's just that it can be soo demanding and sometimes I just need a break. I will definitely follow your recommendation.
Thanks so very much.
