My baby is 2months old..... He is finding it hard to sleep because of constant stretching, grunting and throwing his legs and arms around...... This wakes him up..... He has little sleep maybe 2hours at a stretch or less at times..... Doc says it normal..... When will this stop...... Has anyone had this experience and when does this usually stop......

Try and get a bedtime routine going. The sooner you get your child accustomed to it, the better.

Also, you might want to consider the temperature in the room. I had a similar issue with our little ones at that age and it turned out they were just uncomfortable. No matter how many times I'd swaddle them, they'd get themselves out. :/ I have kickers... so now they always kick off the covers.

Good luck!

If the swaddle is coming undone you may want to try a swaddle blanket. That helps so they don't undo it. Also at that age waking about every 2 to 3 hrs to eat is normal.

I agree that it's pretty normal to only get 2 hours sleep at a time. They are usually on a 3 hour feed schedule at that age.
Babies are also very noisy sleepers, that's why I never had them in my room.

Yeah have tried that as well but it only last for a while...and the stretching is there while he's awake as well.....
