I have a 9 month old daughter and from the day she was born has been super inquisitive and very busy. I nurse her and she has always been really little, but so are her father and I!! She is 9 months old and 17 pounds and super curious about her surroundings. She does not like to be held, and if you do hold her, she has to face out. She is not cuddly at all, does not like to hug, kiss or cuddle. It's so strange because my husband and I are super loving and cuddle and kiss all the time. I was visiting my inlaws this weekend and it seemed like my mother in law was actually getting mad at her because she wouldn't hug, cuddle or kiss her. She just pushes away from everyone and squirms and wants to get down. She is crawling and walking with assistance and has done everything super early, so I think she doesn't want to miss a trick... But it is kind of concerning. How do I help my daughter to be loving? I am a nurse practitioner and my husband is a state trooper and we are just at our wits end on what to do... I have read a lot of things about curious kids, but would like some more info for sure on this topic... I am new to this site so I apologize if this topic has been discussed over and over.
