Ok I should not have mentioned the cyst. To be clear, I had a history of cysts before that pregnancy. I did not mean to scare you.

While the baby is still too small to make you any bigger... it is definitely possible to 'pop out' earlier the more babies you have. Put it this way... my first pregnancy was twins and I was able to continue buttoning my pants til about 12 weeks. 6 years later when I was pregnant w/ my single son... I was unable to button my pants by 5 weeks. ;)

When I went in for my first visit with my third child, I was showing for sure. I knew without a doubt that I was 8 weeks but measured way bigger. Doc said must be multiple pregnancy. It turned out to be a cyst on my ovary, it was benign and removed at 12 weeks and I went on to have the baby and then another without a problem.

At 6 weeks the baby is too tiny to make you bigger, but your abdominal wall may be stretched out a bit, or you could be bloated. Is it possible you are off in your dates?
