My Lo will only fall asleep with breast or a bottle in his mouth. I tried to put the pacifier in his mouth instead of a bottle but he gets upset! Even if he is already full that's the only way he falls asleep. He is 4 months & already 20 lbs. PLEASE HELP!

You might try a different pacifier. We tried 3 different ones before we found one my guy liked. The first two he wanted nothing to do with.

Nursing at the breast non-nutritively is one thing sucking down extra ounces of formula is another. I did not bottle feed so I really don't have much advice. If he rally hates the pacifier, then when the night bottle is done, lay him down. If he cries, offer the pacifier (warm it under warm water). See if he can soothe himself with sucking the pacifier.

@dove I know it's not a problem , I'm saying its when someone other then I have him, it's like he gots to have a bottle in his mouth, when he is already good and full. That would be over feeding him right?

While 20 pound is a big 4 month old, I agree with Dove. No big deal. Let him nurse and enjoy that time at your breast.

There is absolutely nothing in the world wrong w/ a 4 month old falling asleep at the breast.
