my son was the same way and at 6 months he was walking holding on to furniture. He ran at 9 months. My son is an amazing athlete. Don't force it, let him be him!

I agree with the other ladies. I also want to ask, is she even crawling yet?
Don't make her grow up too fast, let her grow up in her own time. Spend time on the floor to develop her other skills like Jodi said.

I agree with the others. Enjoy it while she doesnt walk because they grow so fast. I personally would not put her in a walker because they are not good for babies.

Are you talking about an actual walker... or one of those stationary things? Basically if she is too short to touch the bottom on the lowest level... she's too young for the device.

I agree with the others, she will learn to walk in her own time. Plonking her in a walker may actually delay this, as she needs to be spending time on the floor developing her muscles. Lots of floor play will help with the development of the muscles needed to roll, sit and crawl. Unfortunately, spending large amounts of time in a walker at this stage can inhibit this development.

Agrees with Shawnn. Hold on and enjoy her being 4 months old. She will grow fast enough don't try to rush it. First she has to sit on her own, pull herself up, even roll if she has not started that yet. Walking will come when she is ready don't push it. Enjoy your, little baby as once she starts walking your whole life changes! Every little thing becomes a toy....paper, books, plants, stairs, breakables, etc. and if she is going to be walking at 4 months you are going to have ALONG time before she understands "no" or "do not touch"

LOL...I know you want her to walk, mom, but hang on...most don't start to pull up until later.

Besides that, once they walk...they run...LOL...you ready for all of that energy? She'll be ready before you know it. Don't push the envelope though. Babies do things according to their schedule, when it comes to walking, etc.
