My baby hardly slept last night. I gave it some Penado but it didn't really seem to help. Any suggestions?

Our daughter is almost 8 months old and July has been a rough month. On the 4th her bottom two teeth cut through and the week after her top 4 started to cut. Now all 6 teeth have came in. It's been rough for her. These last two weeks have been rough for all of us. He mouth was killing her. We give her Tylenol and some times Motrin but never both. So far I think the Motrin works better. It has an anti-inflammatory agent to it. Besides that we give her some Hyland teething tablets and for the most part she is good. We try not give her anything before bed unless we can tell she is needing. The nights where we don't are usually rougher but we don't want keep giving her meds if she does n't need it.

I don't know where you stand when it comes to giving your baby medicine, but there was a huge difference between not giving her those things and giving them to her. Its funny, she does not like hard food yet, she hates it touching her mouth, but when she see's me getting her teething tablet, she is happy to take it. She knows it helps.

Like all medicine, take it in moderation. We only do it at night and only when she is really hurting.

I have never heard of that before. If it has caffeine in it, that may be the problem? Not sure. I don't drink tea.

Is your baby definitely teething?

It can be very difficult when they are cutting teeth. They tend to lose their appetite, sleep, and are very cranky. Sometimes they can break out in a rash, or have diarrhea due to all the drool. Just try to help your baby through this. It hurts a LOT! You can give your baby something cold to chew on (like a cold wash cloth) to help cut, and sooth the teeth. If there is a major problem, call your pediatrician for help. Good luck love!
