Baby walkers aren't good for babies. There is evidence that it actually contributes to the delay of babies walking on their own because they are spending important tummy and crawl time in a walker. Infants need to progress through their milestones, and if you prevent that natural development by placing them in walkers, then it can affect the development. It encourages the use of muscles they are not yet ready to use, and develops muscles in areas they shouldn't.
