single mom who lives in Indiana, takes her baby (2 year baby boy) to the babysitter, when completing emergency contact information ~ she list the child's father for emergencies only. Well she begin having problems with the sitter and some of the choices she would make regarding her child, like one day the sitter had some business to tend to in Chicago, so she just took this ladies son along with other children she was caring for to Chicago and didn't return home until like 9pm in the evening and then called her to come and pick up her child. So since the mother started voicing her opinion her some the sitters action, the sitter didn't appreciate that at all. So one day the babysitter then contacts the child's father in Chicago, then they set up an appointment for the father to pick up the child from the daycare facility. He then picked up the child from the state of Indiana and takes the baby back to Chicago. When the mother goes to get her child, she was told that her child was with her father in Chicago. She asks her why wasn't she contacted if there were an emergency, and the sitter told her that she called the father and he now has the child in his custody. She haven't seen her child now for two months. She doesn't know where he is or if he's alright. The father accused her of putting the baby in danger, and the babysitter co-signed it by saying she is an addict. She went to the police in Chicago and Indiana, and they said he is the child legal parent and there is nothing they can do, its a civil matter now. She doesn't make much money where she works, but she doesn't make much money where she work and lawyers are very expensive. Is there any information that anyone can share with me, so I can try to help her? Please help this young single mother in deep distress?
