Hope to hear any suggestions on how to handle an abusive ex husband. This is my daughter I am so worried about. They also share 2 beautiful young daughters 4 and 6. I think the man could be bipolor and it scares me how his moods can change. My daughter even tried to give it a second chance and just recently had to moved out bacause she is afraid of him. She wasnt able to get all her stuff so he cut it all up, clothes, shoes, shattered pic frames, ect. Threats via text. The think is the police wont help because they have no proof they he even sent the text or destroyed her things

Your daughter needs to request an emergency restraining order, and emergency visitation arrangements.

Start with a family attorney

You need to go to the police and make a complaint no matter what!

He should not be allowed to see the children without supervision if he acts like this...

She doesn't have a choice about him seeing his children. That is settled through the courts, and if he's not actively threatened action against the kids, she will stand the chance of losing custody all together if she withholds visits.

She needs to get orders set through the courts that outline supervised exchange for the kids. If she needs a restraining order, a trusted 3rd party can be assigned for the child exchange.

She had a restraining order on him last year but she requested that it be dropped so she could try to work things out. He needs help with hiis anger issues. I think she shoulnt let him see the girls until he gets the help he needs. Im losing lots of sleep over this. How could someone be so cruel at times.
