A young toddler does not need a nightly bath unless they are really dirty or sticky, but taking a bath has absolutely nothing to do w/ getting sick. Taking a warm bath and then getting dried and in jammies will not get a child 'too cold' unless your house is not heated properly.

Most 14 month olds probably do not do a lot of running around outside sweating. So you could just take a warm washcloth and give a good wipe down instead of placing her in a tub. That should clean her enough, unless you feel she needs more of a cleansing. It could irritate her cold since the water could change temp. The areas i would be concerned with no bath would be private and crevices between their lovable pudgy rolls. As long as those areas are clean should be good.
