I was put on bed rest when i was 19 weeks and 1 day pregnant , It is the worst thing in the world . You have to depend on people for everything . Its even worst when you live with people who don't give a shit about how your feeling . My mother is the only person who is actually putting a effort to make this situation a little better ! UGH i don't know what to do !! I'm just so aggravated

Try to focus on the fact that you are doing this to benefit a new life. It's difficult, but not the worst thing in the world. Women who have to stay in the hospital for weeks would be thrilled to be on bed rest at home! Even if people around you don't seem to care, dwelling on the negative is not going to make you feel better. It won't help you pass the time more quickly. Find things you can be positive and optimistic about, find things to keep you mind busy.

Find stuff you can do in bed that will help you to pass the time - read, knit, start a journal, make a scrapbook, do your nails, do your hair, etc. If you're feeling lonely and unsupported by the people around you call a friend or chat with people online. It's definitely hard to feel like you depend on others for everything. It might help if you found household chores you can contribute from bed - fold the laundry, comparison shop when the flyers come, organize photos, address the Christmas cards really early and have them ready to go!

I think the thing that helps the most to keep you sane is keeping a schedule. Don't just stay in your pyjamas. Get dressed, do your hair and have a plan for what you're going to accomplish that day - even if it's just calling a friend, shopping for a carseat online, and finishing a jigsaw puzzle with your mom.
