Bed wetting becoming a problem--daughter just turned four!

My daughter Cadence has been fully potty trained for about six months now. Up until her fourth birthday, she did an AMAZING job staying drying during the day and during the night. But, she is suddenly waking up wet, and I have no idea what's going on. There have been no significant changes in our family--no new jobs, no moving, no babies, and no emotional stress to speak of. Please, if anyone has experienced this, and has advice on what I should do--I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

I tried bribes. treats. nothing worked . I tried putting a pot in his bedroom. why don't you ask your health worker if you could try a bed alarm. It worked for my friends son.that.was the reason I tried one. It may just work. Make sure your daughter is drinking plenty in the day. my son wasn't drinking enough fluids. i was told that was one of the reasons for bed wetting. its very frustrating.

It's just very frustrating because she was doing so well during the night, until she turned four. It's like a light went off and all of a sudden, she wets the bed at least twice a week now.

I've tried bribes, goodies, special outings, and nothing seems to be working. I've thought about putting her back into pull-ups at night, but Im afraid that that will only set her back farther, and that she will get used to wearing them, and then start depending on them.

She is also deathly afraid of automatic toilets (which is a new fear), and its gotten so bad that she refuses to go to the bathroom in any public restroom, whether its an automatic toilet or not. Im just not sure what to do for her anymore.

I had the same problem my son was dry during the day at the age of 3. he occasionally wet the during the night. Then every night we tried lifting him .bed alarm it didn't wake him . stopped him having drinks after 6. The health visitor told me to make sure he drinks plenty in the day. Didn't work. went to the drs they gave me tables at the age of 10.they worked but i didn't agree with medication so I stopped them.he stopped wetting the bed at the age of 11.wetting the bed is herrodaatory. good luck.
