Behavior Issues After Starting a new daycare

My baby and I had a wonderful summer together. We both established a routine for eating, nap times, and bed times. Recently she began attending a new daycare. She normally cries when i leave her but the daycare workers tell me that it only lasts a short while. They also tell me that her behavior is excellent and she eats, sleeps, and naps very well for them. After picking my child up from daycare we are both very happy to see each other,my baby gives me hugs, and kisses . Shortly after returning home she then begins to act very strange. Very out of character. She goes into the corner and screams "no", "no", "no". When i try to get her out of the corner by communicating with her she ignores me and turns her head away from me and closes her eyes. When i try to tell her to not do something she throws enormous temper tantrums. She also has began to hit , pinch, and bite me. Is this normal behavior when starting a new daycare?? What can i do to help my baby ?
