Being sick

I've noticed since having my daughter I get sick a lot easier. Before I had my daughter I hadn't been seriously sick sick for about 7 years I would get a minor cold about once a year .Since having my daughter 15 months ago though i have gotten sick 3 times and have had a couple of colds.

Has anyone else experienced this and/or have any theories as to why this is?

It could be that your immune system is messed up since having kids. Mine is that way a lot. I was sick recently, 3 times within 4 months, it sucks. It could also be because of stress or lack of sleep.

There could be any number of reasons. Since having your child you may not have time to eat as well as you did previously, it's not always easy to get a meal for yourself when busy with a baby/toddler so maybe you aren't getting enough vitamins. If you are socialising your little one at playgroups or just with other mums and tots you may just be getting exposed to viruses you have never previously been exposed to. My friends and family have all noticed when a child goes to nursery and school suddenly everyone is coming down with all sorts of viruses. My poor brother-in-law (who was never around children until he had his own) spent the first year each of his children went to school ill.
So that's my tuppence worth :)

it might be due to your immune system is down due to lack of vitamins. try to up your vitamin intake even if it is a one a day thing.
