I need help!! I started out with a wonderful teach has done wonders with my child. She has tested very bright and has no problems with anything else, now Math another story. Last year was a battle and that teacher wasn't helpful on explaining and just taking alittle extra time with her and pretty much made her feel stupid in class. This year started out great she loved this teacher and in a matter of a week she was understanding the math and my child told her that she was made to feel stupid because of the old teacher and she wasn't getting as fast. Now I had one that took time extra time with all the kids and explained that we all are different and most of us have a hard time showed she cared and they clicked with her. Which I haven't come across a teacher like that since she was in 3rd grade. Okay my child comes home and tells me she has a new teacher was crying and very upset over this. the new teacher tells the class she wasn't doing her work and not doing what she was suppose to do that's why she was gone. So about a week or so I was in the office and asked the girl acted really weird and said "oh she's ahhh working in a ...... class. I know theres more behing this with these people it's that bad there.
Now since then her grades went down and the bullies are back at her in class at it again. The new teacher did tell the class she wasn't doing her work right so she was gone! How can a teacher tell kids 5th grades private reasons if that is even true? I had a meeting the other day about her work in class and the new teacher admitted it! I'm so angry with that and the fact they are letting the bullies to be back in action! To top it off when I got the the meeting she had another teacher there that had nothing to do with this meeting and took over. Needless to say it didn't go so well. My question is I ran into the old teacher and she had heard this gossip was going around the administration is horrible at the school I could be here all day! She asked me if I have been hearing things I was so happy to see her and asked why did they move you? We miss you badly! Anyways she wouldn't give me details but there is a meeting this week and I asked if I could help and she said if I could write a letter of what was said would help.... I don't mind standing up for anyone but I'm worried it will get worse for my child as I already have one of her teachers bullying her on top of the kids So I'm worried Do I write this letter? I don't want to see someone lose everything they have worked for that really loved her job and has made such a difference with kids. And now days we need more good teachers... well atleast at this school!
