Can anybody make any suggestions for potty training a two year old successfully. He is really stubborn when it comes to potty training and it doesn't help that he like to take his clothes and diaper off and eat the contents of his diaper. Please Help!!

My daughter is 3 and potty training a stubborn little girl was the hardest thing I have ever done! HAHA But I got creative. I made a "treasure chest" of goodies small toys (dollar store) or "special" snacks that she got to choose from every time she did go on the potty. We called them her potty prizes and she got so excited that she would ask if she could go potty to get a prize!! It seemed like it took forever. But it finally paid off! Good luck!

If he likes to take of his diaper, you may be in luck- he may be ready to potty train! Thats how i knew mine was ready- she'd whip a dirty diaper off in a heartbeat. Get yourself a potty chair and try to get him to sit on it every hour. use positive reinforcement. Even go so far as to have you and your partner congratulate each other on using the potty. Good luck!
