Hi, I am worried for my sons safety when being watched unsupervised by his grandma. She suffers from bipolar and has on many occasions tried killing herself. Also when my son was 3 months she left him unattended on the kitchen side. He fell off and broke him arm. I need to know wether there's anyway legally I can stop this. I am no longer with his mother and she has the rights as to what can happen. I am from the uk

Just call a lawyer. usually they offer quick free consultations over the phone to see if your situation has a case. Every country, and town within a country differ in laws. It is best to call an expert in your area.

I know it's a mums site but I was wondering if anyone had had a similar situation. And could advise me on the proceedings and actions I can take

You can speak with a lawyer and try to block her from unsupervised visits. I think your situation is serious, and you must act asap.

But also this is a site for moms. Call a lawyer.
