Michelle, I thought the same thing. Maybe to regulate her period? BUT, it can take a long time for that to happen, and to find the correct birth control sometimes. ( I remember that I was on 3-4 different birth controls for 6-8 months because I was having such a difficult time on them all. I ended up having to stop oral BC altogether.)

I'm not understanding how birth control is supposed to help you conceive. The point of birth control is to prevent pregnancy. Unless you are going to be on it for a short time and then go off to see if it has worked but I'm sure there are other ways to try and get the ovaries "working" properly.

Birth control prevents pregnancy. Did you let your doctor know you are trying to conceive before he/she put you on birth control?

Is your doctor aware you are trying to conceive? Not a whole lot of advice or personal experience any of us can give... Not a whole lot of information youve shared.
I know people who have used birth control to successfully manage pcos and endometriosis...
If thw goal is conception, and whatever symptoms you deal with are worth the risk, i would suggest you talk to your doctor about other options available to you. I wouldnt think it would be likely you could get pregnant while taking birth control faithfully enough to deal with whatever ovarian health issues you are facing.
