Please don't blame yourself Natasha. These things don't always make sense and blaming yourself won't change it. I would listen to the doctors and nurses providing care for guidance. The odds are not with him for survival. Usually 24 weeks is what is considered the edge of viability. I am so sorry that you and your family are experiencing this. My heart and prayers go out to you.

Wow i'm shocked too. I think it is awesome that things are okay at this point. I honestly never heard of a baby surviving any amount of time at this age, so it sounds good. I wish you luck! I can understand how scared and worried you are right now.

Why are you blaming yourself though? Is it something you did that makes you think it made him arrive this early.

Why do you blame yourself? If he is breathing on his own, there is a good chance he will make it. I'm shocked because his lungs aren't fully developed.
