Blood clots at 3 weeks of my misscarge

i just had a misscarrige at 3 months is it normal to be bleeding at 3 weeks, and is it normal to still have blood clots the since of a toonie or somethime as long as your middle finger. and ive been haveing feeling like i need to faint. my stomich is still cramping, and ive been having migrains for a week now. is this all normal??

I agree with Louise, it isn't normal to still have blood clots at this point. Sometimes, with such a late miscarriage, you may need a D&C. I had a 14 week miscarriage several years ago, and about a week after was admitted to emergency because I began to hemorage quite badly. Generally clotting is a sign that there is still some tissue from the placenta which hasn't expelled, and it CAN cause an infection and excessive bleeding. You need to see your doctor ASAP.

No this is not normal I would make an appointment at the doctors. I have had three miscarriages and this has never happend to me. It sounds to me like you need a D&C to stop this which is really no big deal. This simple op will clean out your womb and give you a better chance of having a successful pregnancy next time around as the womb will be smooth and easy to attach to. Speak to your GP today because you need medical attention to get to the bottom of this.
