At he age of 47 i decided enough is enough. i want to divorce my biological family. Drugs destroyed it and for 25 years i am patching and plastering old wounds and raising a unwanted unplanned child of my sister. Payback? NO ways! She also turned into a addict at 14 and is now 25 and has a baby of 6 weeks that is right now on the streets with her somewhere been taken care of by some random druglords girlfriends. Over the years of trying and crying, i now decided i will get the cops in to find and take her baby away (whom i bonded with at birth) and place it in foster care to be adopted. I am called a monster and that its my family i cant just write them of. I decided to do that and walk away as i have to give my own son a good life and the stress is making me very depressed. wWhats your opinioin

I would do everything in my power to get that baby safe... period. Blood is NEVER thicker than water when someone is being neglected or abused.

You know, a lot of people don't have biological families, and they are fine. I don't know why people place so much value on biological relationships. It seems to me the relationships we CHOSE to be in would be more valuable and fulfilling than those we are forced into.

No matter what, I would place the needs of a baby or child above the needs and wants of other family members.
