I am wondering if there are any other moms out there with a similar situation:
I have a 2 year old daughter and a 9 month old son. A few months before my daughter turned 2, I was able to (somewhat easily) wean her off her bottle--it only took a day and a half of tantrums and constant reminders of the sink full of "dirty" bottles to convince her that the sippy cup was the only option for any beverages. Anyway, she was off the bottle for months--until--I began having trouble with my son: struggling to wean him off the breast onto a bottle. So the struggle with my son is finally over and I've managed to get him drinking from a bottle now, BUT, as a result, my daugther is BACK on the bottle! (ugh!) The second she saw the bottle come out for my son (even though I'm using a totally different one for him now) she wanted hers back, and as much as I would've loved to have two crying babies in the house for days, I gave in and assumed she'd go through a phase and be back to her sippy cup in no time! Oh but I couldn't have been more wrong!
Now I don't know what to do--she wants a bottle every time she sees her brother have one, and I think it's starting to affect her eating: she's eating way less than before (but that's another issue I won't get into now!)
Anyway, if any of you have gone through a similar situation and have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
