Jamie, what makes you think that his bowel movements and his bad sleeping are related? If he is having problems with his bowel, wouldn't he also be experiencing pain during the day?

Is it possible your son is having night terrors? Or is he awake and actually coming and telling you that he is in pain?

I think we need more information. There must be other reasons you think there is something wrong with him. How is it ruling his life? What exactly is ruling his life - you mean the pain or the doctors tests? Please try to explain a bit further.

hi sorry i never been that good at this sort of stuff.....!!
my son was always a good sleeper, and good with having bowel movements.he has now had lots of tests and nothing as come back as anything..
pedetrestions are passing it off as bahavoiur problems because they dont want to do anymore tests on him.
he has been put on decompaction amount of movicol which is used for IBS.
but still he is having quite alot of pain! i dont no were to go from here! x

Hi Jamie, I'm finding your post a bit difficult to follow, due to lack of punctuation.

I understand your son is in pain and somebody (who?) has diagnosed bowel problems. What are they basing this on? Has he had any treatment? Who is passing it off as behavioural problems?

Perhaps you could explain again.
