My daughter is almost 3 and has had issues with bowel movements since she was 6 months old. The Drs keep saying that constipation is normal in children, but my concern is that I'm having to give her 3 caps 3 times a day of miralax. She doesn't have BMs on her own, I have to push her knees to her chest EVERY time she does have a BM. She will go up to 8 days without going to the bathroom. Not only does this really hurt her but it has also stopped potty training. She has now started complaining about a headache and that she feels like shes going to throw up. I'm taking her to the Dr today but I wanted to see if anyone has had experience with this???? Thanks in advance!

Katherine,
She was impacted. Poor girl. She is much better now though and goes to the GI in a few weeks.
