I like Dakota. Maximus, as previously mentioned, would be a great name for a boy. It definitely is not a name used often.

My son's name is Kaleb Michael.....from the Bible, but to make it still a little more differenent I spelled it with a K (instead of the original Caleb). And the Michael (middle name) is after my older brother.

As I'm Irish and live in England I wanted to keep the Irish line going so called my little boy Eoghan (Eoin, Owen). This time round we are undisided as to the names we like as my husband and his family can't pronounce some of them so it's hard to me to choose. But for a girl we like Rosheen, Roisin and for a boy Oisin, Fionn, & Finn.

Thanx heaps for all the great names, i love the names logan, jaxon kohan, bryce, coda/dakoda, or takoda, and my husband hates every name!! i feel lik i am at a loss, with our first son he sugested tyler our of the movie fight club and i hated it, but when he was born i kept callin him ty, so i jus figured his name was suppose to be tyler, and this time around we cant agree on any names at all, he loves the name khan, but its my brothers last name, but i think its weird if i call him that as its my brothers last name, but we both really like it.

My son is named Alexander Kenneth. Kenneth is a family name and Alex is the only name we could both agree on. I hear a lot of uncommon names these days including Garrett, Graham, Grayson, Trenton, Macon, Mason, Brayden, Gavin, Colton, Colby, Carson, and Camden. You could use the name James as a masculine form of Jamey.

My sons name is Zane, we felt it sounded like a strong name and liked that it was uncommon.

Our twins are Gibson Matthew, Bryson Thomas (family name), and our youngest is Aleksander William. I love to look up the meaning of names. My ex came up with Gibson and Bryson, but I came up with the two middle names. With my youngest, my husband and I both liked Alexander, but wanted something a little different, so we looked up other spellings and found this one. Then the middle name is a family name also. My rule for names is that if they don't like their first name they can always go by their middle names. Have fun with it!!

Jordan is a nice boys name too, I liked it so much that my partner and I agreed to use it regardless of gender and its one of our daughters middle names ! It nice and kiddy proof too, really hard to find a nasty way to tease that name.... always an important consideration.

This may sound silly but when i was picking names for my son an important factor for me was whether or not i liked to write it. You are going to be writing that name A LOT so if you don't like how it flows, (u know when your just doodling and stuff) maybe that can help you eliminate it. Obviously it isn't going to be one of the main factors when choosing the name but if you have a couple you like it, writing it helps you eliminate some. Just a thought!!

The names i narrowed it down to with my son were Kristian, Nathan, Jayden, Brayden & Logan.... I ended up with Logan

Hope it helps!

Something masculine and maybe something from your family culture. In my family there is John, Dakota, Caleb, Ethan, Hayden, Darian, Mark and last but not least, My son Ernest. If I had another boy I would name him my maiden name, as my Mom and Dad didnt have any boys to carry on the family name...Graham. I've always loved the name Conner

I found this really hard too... luckily we had a girl ! But I really like non-common names for boy babies. I liked Emmette and Jacob (see a theme here? ) and Linkin and for the more common name perhaps Thomas. If your a bit adventurous perhaps Cullen ??? Naturally my partner hates all of those names. He much preffers Caleb which seemed popular with our friends and family.
