My daughter she likes her friends cousin,he is 9 years old and she is 10 years old. I know his and her friends family really good. Zoella she will be 11 soon I don't mind her having a boyfriend as long as they don't have sex, hopefully they won't. Is it the right thing to do as a parent of a soon 11 year old to have a boyfriend at a young age ?

I would say, if you're worried about them having sex at 10 years old, you need to have a talk with your daughter, first and foremost.

As far as whether or not it's 'ok'...not in my house it wasn't. You make the decision for yours.

No. In our home there is no boyfriend/girlfriend talk at this young of an age. If you haven't already done so... your daughter needs a full sex education... including a strong emphasis on waiting til marriage (or at least adulthood) and why... ways to protect herself if she makes the choice to NOT wait... and what can happen (pregnancy and/or std's) if she chooses not to wait... even if she does use forms of birth control.

Small group, well supervised activities are appropriate for the preteen age... so boys and girls can get to know each other and be friends w/ guidance and supervision w/out all the pressures put on them by the outside world and their own unreliable hormones.
