Boys are more active in everyday life than girls. Or are they?

My little boy (Dalton) is always jumping an pretending like he is doing karate. Non-stop! Everyday his energy level is great an healthy! But are they really more in tune an energetic than girls? More active in most things.

I find that it depends solely on the child. Gender I find plays no part in it.

I find my daughter is just as active as all the little boys out there...she is just much quieter about it! haha sometimes :)

I have a boy and a girl...they're both incredibly energetic and active all the time, so I can't agree that one is more so than the other. But my boy is SO much louder than my girl. Not that my daughter doesn't try to keep up with the noise - she has a screech that could shatter glass! - but while my son is noisy with almost everything he does, almost ALL the time, my daughter is happy to have a bit more quiet time in her day...thank goodness, because I think my head would explode if it was 100% full on with both of them, all the time!

I raised one of each and I can honestly say there was no difference. Both my kids were very quiet and laid back. They weren't ones to run around all hyper. They would sit and look at books and play with toys. I don't know if they are born that way or were that way because our house is very calm. My 3 dogs are the same way.

My youngest daughter is super active, all my kids were but she is the most, she isn't 4 yet she never walks just runs We have a swinging rope in the tree and she can't go past it without climbing it or swinging it she even gets between 2 lounge chairs and does double leg lifts just for fun, or will see if she can hop every where for the day, she just never stops

My son aged 16 months is non stop!! He has a heart condition and his cardiologist keeps telling me that it will effect his energy levels...but it doesn't at all! I am lucky if I can get him to nap for an hour a day, other than that he rarely sits down, he is very curious and has no fear of anyone or anything...if he is in another room and he's quiet for a few minutes, I have to go investigate as almost always it means he has found something dangerous to interest him!!! Yesterday I thought he was playing with his cars in the next room, I went in after a minute of not hearing any noise and he handed me a broken glass candle holder covered in blood from his hands....I panicked, he didn't care!! Tough kid!

I have 4 daughters and raised 3 nieces and they were quiet...don't get me wrong they were very active, but nothing campared to my 2 grandsons. One is 3 and the other is 10 months and they are just everywhere doing everything. They are loud and dangerous...because they will try any and everything, even the baby. they wrestle and run and the baby pushes the 3 yr old around on the play car they have while learning to walk. I can't keep up with them and I am very thankful for the 7 girls that gave me peace, because I don't think I could have raised boys. I am older and much wiser so it is easier to deal with. I grew up with 5 brothers but don't remember it ever being like this...CONSTANT CHAOS ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a boy and a girl, both are on the go non stop from the minute they get up to the minute they go to bed.

My daughter is more inclined to have quiet time, where my son continues to bounce of the walls. He is starting to calm down occassionally as he gets older

When my girls were little my ex and I used to joke that our boy would be the calm one cuz they NEVER stopped moving. Ha... I didn't think it was possible, but he's as active, if not more so, than the 2 of them put together were.....

Nah, All little ones are energetic. The girls may seem a little more low key, but they aren't.

Your little boy sounds like my little girl. And my friend's 2 daughters... and my cousins 2 daughters. They never stop moving! So I'm gonna say no, boys in general are not more active.
