I need help!!! My child is 19 months old, and every day breakfast is a battle.. I want to cry every time, she refuses to eat breakfast, I dont know what to do.. I try to give her two choices, that still wont work, one day she'll like something, the next day I give it to her she spits it out and say NO!!!! Then an hour later she wants a snack, I dont know what else to do with her

What time is breakfast? Maybe if you wait until she asks for food. My daughter is 17 months and refuses to eat breakfast most days. I wait until she opens the fridge, brings me a bowl and cereal, or just says 'hungry'. I offer her what I'm making for breakfast and if she doesn't want it, in 1 and a half hours is snack.

Also, mix it up...instead of cheerios, try multi grain cheerios, instead of plain oatmeal, add fruit (applesauce, raisins, dried fruits, or even diced fruits), cream of wheat, pancakes made into 'mini' pancakes, different shapes, waffles, jam/jelly instead of butter/syrup, peanut butter, toast with jam/jelly, peanut butter, butter, french toast, banana, orange, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, a smoothie, yogurt, breakfast pizza, scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, lil smokies, hashbrown potatoes, muffins, corn bread...etc.

You can also ask what she wants (like you already do) and ask her to help you make it. Kids like getting involved with what they eat.
