My son was and still is the same way. He didnt really like the high chair. But as long as we sit at the table like a family or I just sit with him alone, I find he does much beyer. There cannot be anything around him that distracts him. Like television, people talking our moving around alot. He likes things very calm and quiet. Tip: If hes self feeding, try bananas, dry cereal, and talk to him, make fun noises, make it fun and exiting that hes being a big boy. Thats what worked for us. It tok a while but he eventually got used to it and we still have some days when he just doesnt want to eat, our hes still sleepy and fights a little. But yiu learn alk thier signs and signals. You will eventually get a schedule and way to communicate with each other AND things will get easier. Good luck. :) firstname.lastname@example.org.
