I currently gave birth on April 10th 2014. My daughter is now in the NICU and I am breast feeding and pumping while I am away from her. I wasn't able to pump much the last two days like I am supposed to and now my supply is very short. I can barely fill 2 oz bottles. Does anyone know what I can do to get my leves back up?

Thanks you guys. I will have to try the Tiger milk. I am pumping every 1-2 hrs now and it is picking up a little. So I think I just need a little extra boost. so maybe the milk will work.

Hi, yes pump more, but make sure you drinks lots of water and eat well. Also try a smoothie called Tigers Milk. Its basically all good stuff like full milk, banana, chia, honey, yoghurt and main ingredient, Brewers Yeast. You can also make lactation cookies with the active ingredient being brewers yeast - google for recipe. Hope this helps, good luck.

Pump more frequently like every 1-2 hours. This will not only help build your supply, but you will have more on hand. Good luck!

How often are you pumping? What kind of pump do you have? It's important to pump every 2-3 hours.
