My daughter just had a baby at 26 weeks and is now renting a Medela Symphony Breast Pump from the hospital.. She was told that her insurance would pay for it... well they are not.... so I am asking to see if anyone out there has a used Medela Symphony Breast Pump, that they would be willing to sell us...Please let me know... Thank you so much.

Try ebay, they go quite cheap. Ameda double electric is another really good brand too, I found it better than the medela and they are generally cheaper second hand.

not sure where you are but you can look into buying one from the store or used, try putting an ad in the paper. You can also try the medela hand pump, or mini electric, both of which are cheaper and more portable which will be good for her in the long run. She can also check with crisis pregnancy centers in your area as well as midwives who will have a better line on used breast pumps or places she can even get them on loan for cheap.
