How old is your baby? I just took a breastfeeding class, and she said that a newborn may only be able to drink up to an ounce and then increase. She also said not to get overwhelmed if you are only pumping an ounce at a time. you could also try to pump every two hours instead of three. If your baby is only a week old, your mature milk has not come in yet, and when it does you should be able to pump more out at a time. Everyone's supply is different though. Hope this helps.
