There is nothing wrong w/ setting limits. Wanting to nurse as soon as you are back together again is very normal, but if nursing all the time is wearing on you then it is perfectly OK to have him wait at other times. Change your habits and routine around a bit and offer him other means of distraction... but if he gets really upset and you know you are going to cave... try and nurse him before he gets upset. He can learn to wait a bit and to ask nicely instead of throwing a fit to nurse (if he does), but if you haven't set limits before now it is likely to be a bit of a process requiring a lot of patience and consistency.

My wife actually used that Udder Balm product and said it worked well on her nipples. I think if you still enjoy breastfeeding and that special bond - continue? Is your husband a bit jealous? (Are your breasts still "off-limits" to him)?

I do at times but my nipples are so sore at times and my husband feels our son is old enough now to be off it.

My wife nursed our daus on demand until they were three and loved it. she always had plenty of milk. I don't know how she handled their teeth but she did. Do you not enjoy breastfeeding time?
