I have a four month old daughter. I have been breastfeeding her from birth. In the last month and a half I returned to work. With my return to work came less time breastfeeding her and pumping. I could have taken the pump to work with me and pump from there and sometimes in the past I have; but it seemed to be an inconvenience and an awkward situation for the TWO MEN with whom I work. My office is actually a storage space turned office space. With me pumping they often had to wait until I finished in order to have access to the storage area. I think we all felt a little uncomfortable with that. With that being said, my concern is that i slowed down on pumping and breastfeeding, so to the point that my milk supply is almost completely dry. I am getting less than an ounce to barely an ounce of milk when I do pump. I have read about fenugreek and beer (non-alcoholic of course) as means of helping my milk supply increase. I have two questions. My first question is how much fenugreek can I take without over doing it or negatively affecting the baby? What else can I do at this point or is it too late?
