Having a tubal ligation is considered a permanent birth control that is often paid by insurance. To have it reversed is VERY costly, insurance will not pay. Also, the fail rate of a reversal is very high. Like Michelle said, talk with your doctor. People who get tubals should think very long and hard about it. I had mine done 3 years ago, and could not be happier. I do not, will not, ever want another child. Mine was for keeps.
