I had a c-section on 2 December 2013, will it be safe for me to try and conceive now? After my first baby I really struggled to fall pregnant again, it took us four years of trying.

Your doctor should have discussed this with you. At minimum they usually recommend waiting at least 1 year to attempt conception. Some will even say longer. The closer your pregnancy is after a c section, the more susceptible you will be to having a uterine rupture. But we are not your doctor, so please seek medical advice and get clearance from your doctor before trying.

I definitely would wait at least another year before trying. You need to give your body time to heal properly or you risk complications for both yourself and your baby.

Most physicians do not recommend pregnancies spaced so closely together. It could to physical harm to your body.

4 year gap between sibs isn't that large, and it does give you time to fully recover before your next go.
