Breastfeeding supposedly will not cause cavities. Other foods/drinks in the mouth mixed w/ the breast milk is what causes the cavities.

I've breastfed all 3 of my kids and only one has ever had cavities, so.... ??

It's because breast milk has a natural sugar and acid. I would recommend if it's a concern that you have them try to minimally have the baby swish and spit with plain water.
