I had the Implanon in and bled for 6 months until I had it removed.
Having a baby could change your periods. How old is your baby? It can take a while for them to settle down again but I would be looking at the Implanon first. There are other forms of birth control.

Shayla, you should not be having a monthly every day! You really need to talk to another OGYN. I have known girls who have the birth control in their arm too but it is more likely they will have very light periods once a month. Like I said. You really need to talk to another doctor.

Shayla, when I had my first child my monthly did change. I breast fed my daughter for 4 months (she started cutting 4 teeth) and while doing so I did not have one. Once I stopped my cycle started up again and I think it lasted about a week and a half up until I restarted using birth control pills. If you think your cycle is too long and too heavy you should probably talk to your OBGYN.
