For the last two weeks i have had this horrible metal taste in my mouth that will not go away. Can anyone tell me what causes it? is it a sign of pregnancy? I also have had tender breasts and an increased appetite.
Any in sight would be helpful. I have had one child already, but never had metal mouth before.

are you on any kind of MAOI inhibitor or anti depressant or inhaler for bronchitis. all three of these can leave a metallic taste in ur mouth especially when you wake up in the mornings.

Yes they can be symptoms of pregnancy! I had the metallic taste with both my girls all the way through! Take a test, its the only way to be sure!! Good luck!

Any one of those symptoms could be the from a number of things ... you should go to your doctor ASAP.

I just had baby number 3 and this last one I had a metallic taste in my mouth that would come and go through my entire pregnancy. I spoke to my doctor about the taste and he say's it has nothing to do with being pregnant but what does he know he's never been pregnant. I think that I had the metallic taste because I was missing some thing that my body needed and I just happen to be pregnant at the same time. I don't know if your pregnant but if you think you are go have a blood test done. I hope that this helps you.

I had that weird taste for a couple weeks during my first trimester. Sounds like a pregnancy test is in order.

I had that same weird taste with my first. No one I knew had ever heard of it, but it was definitely hormone related.
