Can height predictors be wrong?

of course they can be wrong! Babycenter says I was supposed to be 4'9 +- a few inches...and I'm 5'8...web md and another one says I will be 5'5, http://www.parenting-journals.com/tools/... says 5'5 as well. The reason you cannot know for sure how tall your baby will be is because they only take into account mother and fathers height, they would need grandparents on both sides to determine better.
My daughter is estimated to be between 5'9 and 6'2 when she is 18 (using calculators) she is 1 going to be 2 next month and is 40" tall.
