Can I get any format of album to keep my baby's event in chronological order ?

This is how I organize mine. I have one big folder called "Our Pictures"
Within that folder, I have a folder for each year. Mine starts at 2001 and goes through the current year.
Within each yearly folder, I have a folder for each month of the year.
(I back everything up on an external hard drive that I keep in our fire safe, and on an off site cloud server just in case my computer is ever destroyed)
I try to take images off of my phone at least once a month, and upload images and videos from our cameras as soon as possible after each special event. If the images are from a special event, I name them by that event (like Mark's Birthday (1), and so one). This helps me remember why we took them, and while they might not be in perfect chronological order for the month, I still know what month and year they were taken, and after 15 years of pictures piling up, that's specific enough for me.
If there is a special story or document I need to store as well, I write notes in Microsoft Word and drop them in the same month folder as the image. I scan special documents (you can do this at office supply stores if you don't have a scanner, or you can just take a good photograph with your phone) and drop them in the same folder as well.
Depending on how busy we are and how many pictures I take, I use shutterfly or snapfish to make 3 or 4 printed photo albums each year. I usually do one for summer vacation, one for Christmas, and one for a sort of "Yearly summary" or whatever. I like having them as a back up just in case I somehow lose access to my digital files, plus they are just really fun to flip through remember the fun times with my little boy, and they make great grandparent gifts and conversation pieces when you are hosting guests.
