My daughter is 71/2 months old and is fully breastfed. I had the bc shot twice since she was born but don't like the side affects. My moods are completely off. I don't get my monthly and was told that breastfeeding moms are less likely to get pregnant is this true. I don't want to be on bc but not ready for another baby anytime soon. We use protection but still concerened.

Absolutely. Especially at 7 1/2 months. You should take your bc very seriously unless you are ready for another.

On a side note, I didn't dig the depo should either. I also quit after the second one. Very practical, but it eliminated my libido...
