Can i give my son cow milk?

Hello just wanna ask if i can give cow milk to my 11 month old baby. I really dont wanna spend more on formula i tried the enfamil 9-24 months n he gets costipated? What should i do?

At 11 months yes you can. I would ease into the transition and do half milk and half what ever formula you are currently using. Milk can be terribly constipating so just do it slow. We couldn't put our daughter on straight milk until she was 18 months.

You may want to start combining formula and milk together to slowly get his tummy ready for it. Because the baby is 11 months i would say 50/50 is a good mix. Give him the same amount as you would if it were strait formula. for example if he drinks 8 oz in his bottle normally then do 4 oz of formula and 4 oz of milk.

My opinion on that is YES. But they say not until under 1 but yea try it and give me a shot thanks carol

They say no cow milk under 1 year. But he is 11 month so he is close. Something about the breakdown of protein I don't remember what it is exactly. But yogurt is fine.

yup! i upped mine to 8 but thats bc mine are hogs lol. but use your own judgement on how much you think he will drink

same amount as you have with the formula. whole milk is best for toddlers also. no problem :)

yes you can. 3 sippy cups or bottles of milk then the rest can be a 50/50 of water and juice which will help with constipation. :)
