You can, really it is up to you and how well baby proofed her room is.

I didn't move my daughter to a bed until about 22 months. I wanted her out of a crib before her brother came, despite the fact that he wasn't going to be using that crib. She wasn't a climber, so I didn't have to worry about her falling out of her crib.

My son is 10 months, he has already tried to climb out of his crib. Thankfully because this is a new crib (we got it after the changes in cribs last year), the lowest mattress setting is about 6 in from the ground making the sides taller than him.

I will warn you, she will not stay in bed. Nor will she understand why she can't play all night.
