My fiance and I moved this past weekend, and I'm beginning to wonder if my baby is affected by it. He will be 8 weeks tomorrow and normally a happy, smiley, cooing little charmer has recently become fussy, clingy, and generally uncomfortable (or so it seems). He doesn't want anything to do with his play mat or his swing which he typically loves. Every time I lay him down he starts crying and being fussy. I thought he was possibly developing colic, but his crying doesn't last long it just comes and goes with his mood. I've been reading up on overstimulation and overtired babies which sounds like what may be his problem, but I haven't changed how I interact with him or how much "stimulation" I give him from before we moved. So I'm curious as to if the stress of moving/learning a new place can affect his mood? It sounds kinda silly but he's gotten used to all the sights, smells, and sounds of our old house and now we are in an apartment where it's completely different.
