Can my 10 month old drink lactose free milk?

My 10 month old daughter is exclusively breastfed. I want to wean her off the breast at 12 months, and thought that introducing milk into her diet now, will help her get used to it. I read that cow's milk is not good for the under-developed stomach and intestines of a baby under 12 mos. This is due to the lactose in the milk. Therefore, I am curious if lactose-free milk is acceptable and safe for my baby.

No. Only breast milk or infant approved formula under 12 months. You can start weaning at 12 months. Weaning 'can' only take about a month if baby is ready or you are really determined.
