Can my baby's father be present during birth if i have a restraining order but agreed he could?

I am a soon to be mother and I have a question: I have a restraining order on my baby's father can he be present during birth If i agreed to it for that day? (seeing other people would be in the delivery room)

Yeah, I'm with the others. Why would you want him there? The birth is about supporting YOU, and I can't imagine, if he behaved badly enough to need a restraining order, that he would be supportive in the least.

I agree with 'Little Miss'. There is a REASON you have a restraining order against him, correct? Yes, you can have him present at the birth, but then YOU have violated the restraining order and it will become useless.

Why not let him know after the baby is born and he can visit the baby when he/she is in the nursery with a nurse present?

Typically you would want people present at the birth who will be supportive for the birth, so which is it? Do you want a restraining order against this guy or do you want to be with him?

I don't understand at all why you would want him there. There is a reason you have a restraining order on him, and you are willing to have him in the room with you during the most vulnerable point in your life? If you want answers, ask your lawyer or law enforcement.
