Hi my name is Ola mother of 3 beautiful girls and oldest is 5 years and mY youngest is 3 month. Recently have been having issues with my ex husband, after fining out that he has been abusing Me emotionally, physically and mentallY, I started standing up to him to stop the abuse. at some point police was involved and he was arrested. So now he has stop the physical abuse but still continue with the emotional and mental abuse. I recently find out on his laptop history that his been seeing a divorce and he also put up hidden cctv camera and voice recorder to be monitoring me. Yesterday he told me he will use everything in his power to get the custody of the children and use the recording he has against me in the court. For the court to see how I raise my voice when talking to him. Please I need advice.

SO you would be able to get a restraining order and have him removed from the home.

Or look into a women's shelter where you can also take your children - there are services available for abused wives.

Have you talked to a lawyer?

But he has been violent towards you. You should have a restraining order of some sort against him, and if you had that, HE would not be allowed in the home and would have to find somewhere else to go.

What country do you live in? Do you have such orders available to you?

How you and he interact has absolutely no bearing on whether you are a suitable parent for your child, so will have nothing to do with custody. However, I must ask, why are you still living with him?
