Can my son be lactose sensitive?

My son is 3 months and since hes been born he pukes a lot from formula we've tried good start, parents choice, hes very fussy and seems in pain. This morning i tried similac sensitive and he seems happier and hasn't puked just some spit up. Could this be his problem? Hes lactose sensitive?

It's possible he could be lactose sensitive. It's also possible he has reflux. My daughter did much the same thing as your son but was not lactose sensitive. What we did was feed her semi-upright, burp her halfway through feeds, and keep her semi-upright for a minimum of 20 minutes after a feed. She stopped puking after we started doing that.

That said, there are a number of tests your doc can run to check for lactose sensitivity. I would also keep up with the similac sensitive and see how much of a difference it makes. If he is lactose sensitive then the puking and pain symptoms should stop entirely once he is no longer having a formula that is lactose based.
